Connecting Elements in WWHM 2012

Connecting elements in WWHM 2012 is quite simple. The article down below will describe the process.

  1. Open WWHM 2012

2. Go the WWHM 2012 schematic.

3. Place a basin element in the mitigated scenario.

4. Place a trapezoidal pond element in the mitigated scenario. Right click on the basin to reveal the element menu. Click “Connect To Element”.

5. Drag the green line to the element you want to connect the basin element to.

6. After moving the green line over the chosen element, an additional menu will be displayed. This will allow the user to choose when components of flow will be connected. The default is “Surface Flow” and Interflow”. Connect/disconnect an element by clicking the checkbox.

7. The element with the proper flow components are now connected. The “Flows To” boxes indicate what elements are connected to the pond.
